Mashallah, you have a prime-time slot and under the spotlight BBC1. I hope inshallah you get the required time to convey the proof of Allaah through the Quranic narrative.
When giving dawah, I don't like to use the word 'belief' when talking about the Qur'an and Allaah. Let me explain why - people usually explain it away like this..."The Muslims believe the Qur'an to be the Word of God.... ". Personally I prefer to use the word 'convinced' (yaqeen and mutaqqeen) i.e. "The Muslims are convinced the Qur'an is the word of God... ." Can you see the difference now? When you say 'belief', the non-Muslim masses already have the baggage and pre-suppositions of 'belief' in the in the hypothesis sense or Christian sense i.e. believing in something without proof and contrary to rational evidence. However if you change the word to 'convinced' then it changes the whole picture - doesn't it? How would the non-Muslims take this now? Convince is a word which means to persuade someone to the validity of something through evidence.
Belief is a word that I have a horrific dislike towards, as you can see why. I am still astonished to see scholars and daees still using this word when it has so much negative baggage attached to it.
May Allaah inspire you to deliver his message and proof of his existence with ease. May Allaah reward in this world and grant you 7th Paradise -Ameen!
