As’ salaam alykum

Alhamdulillah this was a great event. Your arguments for were brilliant and left me feeling sorry for the atheists whose distasteful answers made them look under prepared and confused as to their own beliefs.
JazakAllah khair for coming and keep up the good work inshAllah.

Asalamo'alaikum.

I attended the event at Bradford uni and the debate, 'There is NO God'.
I was truly mesmorised by your and your partners arguments - they were presented in a very clear, philosophical, intelligent manner(difficult mix.. clear and philosophical.)
I hope the humanists/antagonists -whichever- find themselves reading a translation of the Qur'an and hope Allah gives them hidaya, Insha'Allah.
All the best for any upcoming events in the near future.
Asalamo'alaikum.

Assalaamu alaikum Adam,

Masha'Allah impressive 'performance' :)

I have a question that I hope you can answer for me:

Was your argument independent of Hamza's kalam cosmological argument or was it dependent on it?

It seemed to me that your first premise rested on the assumption (or the cosmological argument) that God is an objective reality...

>>In the absence of God (an objective reality) there are no objective moral truths.

There *are* objective moral truths.

Therefore God (an objective reality) exists.

Assalaamu alaikum

Thanks for your feedback.

The moral arguement is independent of the Kalam arguement.

The moral arguments use of the objectivity of God does not need the Kalam arguement,as God is objective by definition.

I hope that answers your question.

Wassalaam.
